Sediba Game Lodge

Sediba offers exclusivity, style and luxury against a backdrop of wild Africa in all her splendour. Situated in the 'Big 5' Welgevonden Private Game Reserve. It is only a 3- hour drive from Johannesburg.

Floating between the towering trees and the forest floor, each of Sediba's fifteen suites embraces the natural environment whilst offering the ultimate in sumptuous comfort and tranquility. The open-plan suites, each with lounge, double bedroom and en-suite bathroom, open onto personal secluded viewing decks overlooking the majestic Waterberg mountains. No luxury or detail has been overlooked to create a tranquil haven and a truly unique wildlife experience. Guests are assured of personal service around the clock. Gourmet chefs prepare excellent cuisine and our wine cellar is stocked with exclusive vintage wines.

A wildlife world of adventure awaits our guests on game drives from 4x4 open jeep or in private hides. Guided by experienced, knowledgeable rangers, guests can view big 5 game, such as elephant, lion and rhino or relish more intimate encounters with other fauna and flora.

Sediba consists of two all-suite lodges, Letlapa and Letlapala. Letlapa meaning 'rock' lodge, is situated in a valley with a perennial stream running through it. Letlapa has ten double suites and is, as a result of the design and sheer size of the suites the more spectacular of the two lodges. Letlapala translated to 'place of the sun', is the more intimate of the two lodges as it has a mere five double guest suites and one main lodge. The lodges are separated by a gravel road and are a ten minute drive apart from one another and as both provide an equal source of well-being and complete relaxation.
